The person behind a new restaurant in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood is also looking to open a dining spot in the space where a high-end eatery had been in the Financial District.
The Boston Globe is reporting that Seth Greenberg is planning on opening a restaurant on High Street, taking over the former Radius space. (Michael Schlow closed that place in June of 2013 after approximately 15 years in business.) The article indicates that very little information on the dining spot has been given as of yet, so keep checking back for updates.
[June 16 update: Eater Boston mentions (via @FoodserviceEast) that Seth Greenberg and his restaurant group are bringing a location of Serafina--a small chain of Northern Italian restaurants--to the former Radius space. Currently, Serafina has seven locations in New York City as well as in White Plains, East Hampton, and Philadelphia; other locations can also be found in the Middle East and Brazil.]
Greenberg is currently getting ready to open Bastille Kitchen on Melcher Street in Fort Point, and he has been involved with such restaurants as Mistral in the South End, the now-closed Woodward at Ames in downtown Boston, and Capitale in New York.
The address for the restaurant that Seth Greenberg is planning to open in the Financial District is 8 High Street, Boston, MA, 02110.
